Not working on iphone

This is my first experience with Bluefire...hopefully my last. I bought a digital book that was not available on Amazon. I successfully installed the app on my iPad and iPhone, and successfully downloaded my book on the iPad. Unfortunately, the book does not appear in my library/ has not synced on the iPhone even though I am correctly logged in on my Adobe ID.

Problem installing on new iPad

Ive been using Bluefire Reader with my old iPad, but could not access my library on my new iPad. I read the help related to the cryptic error message, but the necessary button and steps dont exist. I will reinstall one more time, but...

Horrible

Why was this chosen by Bibliotheques de la ville de Paris is beyond me. The worst reader ever. No possibility of changing size of characters. Just useless.

Please fix this!!

I used to love this app. I used it daily. Now, with freezing pages happening continually I rarely touch it. Please fix this problem!

Wifi seems to be an issue

I was excited to see this update but it doesnt seem to work any better than the previous version. Ive done some flying this week and have come to the conclusion that the pages dont turn and the app locks when wifi is on. In airplane mode, the pages turn fine. As soon as I switched back to my normal settings my iPad version of bluefire no longer worked. The phone version seems fine.

Highlight not working

Ugh, so aggravating. I dont feel like reading my ebooks because I cant highlight. Pllllllleasssse fix it.

Great app for reading books

Love the Dropbox support and device page syncing. Keep up the good work! Get a OSX app out there!

Blue Fire Reader

I used this reader to check out a library ebook. Worked fine. Special features were appreciated, spacing, formatting, etc. Only drawback was the highlighting limitations.

Reading on this app is...

Reading takes twice as long on this app due to frequent buffering and downloading when pages of the book turn.

Reviewed too soon!

I did some flying this week and realized that the app was working when my iPad was in airplane mode with no wifi. As soon I had wifi again the problems reappeared. Still an issue. I dont want to turn wifi off every time I use the app. I got excited about the update. Initially it was still locking up and the pages were freezing but after a few days it began working. Today, again, it was not working. Not being able to consistently turn pages is a real bummer. My other reading apps are working. It seems to be just Bluefire. When it works Id give it 5 stars. I love the up and down swipe to adjust brightness. Unfortunately it doesnt seem to be consistent.

Works great for me

iPad mini 2. I have not observed any of the issues brought up by other reviewers. It actually is a nice reader for my library books. If one zooms into the page while reading one has to remember to zoom out before turning the page. Maybe this is what can cause an appearance of a problem, but is quickly learned.

An ereader in need of more love

The best ereader in the store. No other app allows me to view a pdf in sepia mode (easier on the eyes), remember page zoom levels across page flips, AND has its own rotation lock setting.

Terrible app for DRM that causes nothing but frustration

This app is so terrible. I cant open the books I need. When they finally download, it says I need to open them under the original account...but this is my only account. This is a terrible product that id only use if I was forced to at gunpoint.

Used to be great

In hate to post a negative review, but this once great app has, in recent months, become sluggish to the point of being unusable. Using it has become an exercise in frustration and futility.

Not happy

First off, Ill say its a decent reader app. I receive dozens of e books from publishers to review and often they dont have the kindle format, so this is an alternative. The downside is that you cant sync devices with either content nor the place you left off like the kindle app. I just got a new phone, synced with iTunes, and my blue fire app is completely empty of the 100 books I had there and now have no way of getting back. Im not happy. They need to improve this significantly.

Not happy

It keeps telling me account been authorized too many times, I cant download the book I paid for. Rip off.

Why did they drop the Orientation Lock feature?

Ive been a big fan of the Bluefire Reader since it initially launched because of the extra features like Orientation Lock. This latest upgrade dropped the Orientation Lock feature and I already miss it. I find it very frustrating to have to adjust my reading position to suit the iPad. I hope they restate this feature soon or Ill have to find a different reading app.

Not gonna lie...

I really enjoy this app. I use it to keep track of long online articles or some kind of Fanfiction I want to read at the time. Not as elegant as iBooks but it does what its supposed to and a satisfactory and efficient manner.

Hate it after update!!!

They refuse Orientation lock for some mysterious reason….The app is unusable this way and their support absolutely ignore the customers…no reaction on emails..nothing. Before it was for me the best reader app, not I am looking for something new. What a shame!!!!

From 5 to 1

Very disappointed with the update. They dropped orientation lock which made this app great. Now its just like all other readers, except with a worse UI.
